I was tasked with creating event collateral for an event of my choice. I chose the historic Strawberry Mansion's annual Strawberry Festival because I wanted to redesign a local event. I drew inspiration from traditional Pennsylvania Dutch folk art to stay connected to Pennsylvania's rich artistic heritage. 

I conducted a deep dive into Pennsylvania history and explored various examples of type, composition, and color, which I then subtly modernized to resonate with contemporary viewers. This allowed me to explore new techniques and pushed me to test the boundaries of what I was used to in terms of design.
