Dreamstate explores the unsettling and surreal experience of being caught between wakefulness and sleep. The photographs were taken using a low shutter speed and then overlaid to capture the complex feelings of stress, anxiety, confusion, and exhaustion. This method of editing captured the feeling of existing in a liminal space, where one is neither fully awake nor fully asleep.
